CIVIC HALL
The Civic Hall in Uppermill has undergone extensive
refurbishment and is an ideal venue for wedding receptions, concerts, dinners or meetings.
The building which was once a Mechanics Institute was built in 1859 by the famous Saddleworth
Architect George Shaw and has been modernised over the years but still retains its character.
The building houses a large ballroom,
and bar facilties upstairs with excellent lighting and PA equipment, whilst downstairs are two
smaller rooms plus a large kitchen.
The Hall is licensed for Weddings and other
Civil Ceremonies.
